Department Mission
To create an environment fostered toward assisting our families in becoming economically self-sufficient. Our mission is to assist them through the Neighborhood Network Center; a one stop shop providing Financial Literacy, Literacy English As A Second Language, Job Training, Basic Computer Training, General Education Development (GED), and many more programs. Also, we will seek the involvement of the highest-quality organizations to provide services to our residents. The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers would like more of our residents to become homeowners. We proudly support resident's transition to independence with the Housing Choice (Section 8) Voucher Homeownership Program.

Objectives and Purpose
The Resident Council Association is an organization made up of residents working together to help make a better life for everyone. The Council represents all residents interpreting to the property manager the needs and interests of residents, and acts as a good neighbor to families. Residents working together can also do much to improve the appearance of the community and create a congenial atmosphere. The Resident Council also represents the concerns of the residents by working with the Housing Authority and the police department.
Please join in attend your resident meeting monthly and be that resident to make a difference in your community!
