To be considered for public housing, there are three (3) basic steps you should follow:

1. Complete a housing application form for the property you're considering
2. Complete a HUD 9886 form
3. Complete an Authorization of Release form
After completion, you should deliver or mail the forms to the respective property office. Applications for public housing are available on this website and at HACFM Offices.
Applications are only accepted for those housing developments and bedroom sizes with open wait lists. To see what developments are available, please review the Pubic Housing Wait List file below. IMPORTANT NOTE: Each housing development has its own separate application. Make sure you select the application that corresponds with the housing development you're applying for.
Changes In Housing Status
It is very important that all applicants report any change in household composition, address change, income change or any other change promptly within ten (10) days of the change by completing a client update form (available below).
