Founded in 1960, The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers provides attainable housing for families and seniors in the City of Fort Myers.
We currently own and manage over 1300 housing units in Fort Myers and Lee County. In addition to the housing units, the Authority provides the administration to over 2500 housing vouchers throughout Southwest Florida.

At HACFM, the health and wellbeing of our staff, program participants and business partners, are of the utmost importance. HACFM is following guidelines from federal, state, and local public health officials, regarding COVID19.
HACFM has decided to significantly limit direct contact with the public since COVID19 began. Effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020 , and until otherwise posted, our offices will be closed to the general public.
HACFM staff will work scheduled hours and continue to serve our clients via electronic means of communication, utilizing the online tenant portal, mail correspondence, and limited client appointments. If you need assistance, please visit the contact us page for a full staff directory.
